Medical Animation
We collaborated directly with a group of medical professionals to illustrate and animate the development of plaque for a medical testing company. The importance of this project is that we synthesized complex concepts into an easily understandable animation which needed to be understood by patients as well as medical professionals.
We began with a visual of the exterior body then zoomed into the microscopic view of the blood flow inside the arterial veins. Visual illustrations showed the role of LDL and HDL particles in the development of plaque.
This piece was used to convey a complex concept to a broad audience. The final animation is being used in presentations and on their website to help explain the need for cholesterol testing with their product.
